Market resolves to yes if, come opening game of the '23-'24 NBA regular season, Ja Morant does not play because he has been, in some form, suspended from playing (likely due to his gunplay on Instagram live). If he misses the game because he is going through some sort of related rehabilitation process, the market also resolves to Yes. If he misses the game because of physical injury, the market will resolve to No. If he plays, the market will resolve to No.

@TravisBaker Injury shouldn't matter since he has also been suspended from team activities since May 14th 2023.
He also has a program he needs to pass or else the suspension is longer.
There is precedent here also if you go back and look at Draymond Green, he was injured at the same time as a technical foul suspension and the suspension was not delayed.
"Morant will be ineligible to participate in any public league or team activities, including preseason games, during the suspension."
@SirCryptomind Well in the NBA, you have to be medically cleared to play or they delay the suspension. I think Draymond wasn't actually injured.
@TravisBaker I don't think Morant is able to get "medically cleared" if he somehow becomes injured between the teams suspension in May and start of the official season start when his 25 games start counting since he can not participate in team activities and can not be at team facilities. NBA doesn't allow medical clearance outside of the team unless it goes through the NBPA, similar to the NFL rules.
But who knows, we've seen crazy stuff happen before.
Really up to OP I guess how to interpret league rules.
@SirCryptomind Yeah, I shouldn't have said it would delay the suspension. He would still be suspended, but game 1 might not count toward the 25. The market description seems ambiguous because he could miss due to injury and suspension.
@TravisBaker I actually thought about this way too much, because of his dumb gun play on, I guess the likeliness of him injuring himself between now and suspension is much higher than normal compared to a normal suspension or a technical foul suspension or such.
