Will we have an automatic cloth folding machine by 2030?
Requirements:
Will be available to the public for less that 100,000$
Will be able to fold a messy pile of T-Shirts or Jeans with no human intervention and with less than 10% failure rate
Update 2025-05-19 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - The machine must be able to fold T-Shirts or Jeans.
Folding only other items (e.g., socks) without the ability to fold T-Shirts or Jeans is not sufficient for a 'Yes' resolution.

Seems like this is doable in prototype form (and this video was apparently posted later in 2024, about 9 months after the question was posted). So now the main question is, will this be scaled up and available to the public for less than $100,000?
@BoydKane It's not sufficient if it can't fold one of them. Folding socks is nice, but not enough to be considered "laundry folding"
