Roglič will now have a tougher challenge facing Evenepoel in Catalunya next week:

It's too high he will have to deal with to teams with several riders less than 30 seconds from him tomorrow. It will be wild.

@NickelChen he's been riding smart, and has form, I don't see anyone dropping him tomorrow. Another advantage is that Kerlderman is riding strong (currently 5th) and so he can cover attacks too, particularly anyone from 6th place on. If Ineos knew any strategy other than their Sky train, Almeida and Mcnulty could attack him just like Roglič and Jonas did to Tadej last year at the tour. But I think Roglič is a smarter rider and will survive without problems tomorrow. My prediction is that Ineos and Movistar for no good reason keep pulling until the last climb and so he'll have a couple of Jumbo riders to help, particularly Kerlderman

Another win for Roglič today on the queen stage. He now leads the GC by 4 seconds

Roglič won the stage today (first mountain stage) and is already 2nd in the general classification, 6 seconds behind Lennard Kämna

Decent ITT for Roglič, he gained time to all GC contenders, except perhaps Almeida (-6 sec) and Lutsenko (-1 sec). Particularly, he gained 11 sec to Enric Mas, arguably the top contender for GC. Good sign too that van Aert only place 44th, indicates that he was saving effort and that he's there to work for Roglič
