Welcome back folks. We are off to the races with a new cast of characters competing in a 1 mile race. The table below shows how much distance in feet each simulated horse traverses per second on average.

The standard deviation is 5 feet per second for each horse, which reflects variation in performance due to factors such as wind and soil condition. After one day, I will post a daily animation showing the progress of the horses after 30 an additional seconds have elapsed. Note that the hosting service deletes the animation after 24 hours. As noted in the previous race, if multiple horses finish in the same time step, ties are resolved by distance past the post. The top 4 horses will participate in a tournament with the top four horses from the previous market. I will not participate in this market.
