Wizard of the Coast (owned by Hasbro) owns D&D. Since they consider the brand undermonetized, it seems they want to re-authorized third-party products via OGL. One potential target is Paizo with its Pathfinder products.
Something similar was done by TSR long ago (which previously owned D&D).
For simplicity, any lawsuit between WoTC/Hasbro and Paizo will count as YES, no matter if it is related to this license issue or not.
