The US government has shutdown as of 12:01 AM October 1st (Wikipedia).
When will the shutdown end?
This question uses the local time in Washington DC (Eastern time).
This question ideally resolves YES to the above-listed period in which the US president signs funding legislation that ends the shutdown.
However, historically the precise timing of the presidential signature on funding legislation has not always become publicly known. In the event there is ambiguity about the presidential signature timing that spans multiple above-listed answers, this question may resolve to either my best judgement as to when the presidential signature occurred based on credible sources, or by deferring to the last day of the shutdown as generally identified by credible sources (e.g. the day identified as the last day of the shutdown on Wikipedia and/or in credible news reporting).
If the current US government shutdown lasts for more than 5 weeks, then the entry "Not before 5 weeks (not before 12:01 AM November 5th)" resolves YES (and all other entries resolve NO).
@AlanTennant this is a dependent market, so only one option can resolve YES. thus, note that the creator almost certainly intended these to be mutually exclusive options—so if it resolve after 10 days, "Within 2 weeks (before 12:01 AM October 15th)" resolves YES but "Within 3 weeks (before 12:01 AM October 22nd)" does not.
@cash may want to explicitly clarify that in the description, if others are similarly confused. but multiple options cannot resolve to 100%.
