I surveyed 170 US participants on Prolific and asked them two questions: "In my ideal sexual encounter, my partner would act more: (1) Playful - (7) Serious" and "Imagine that your partner makes a funny joke during a sexual encounter. This would make you feel: More aroused, Less aroused, No effect on my arousal."

This question will resolve Yes if, on BOTH questions, there's a statistically significant difference such that women prefer sex to be more serious and are less aroused by laughter. If ONE of the questions has a significant difference in that direction but the other doesn't, this question will resolve to 50%. It will resolve No if NEITHER question has a significant difference in that direction.
