I'm specifically interested in the limit on employee elective deferrals on traditional 401k plans. This does not include employer contributions or catch up contributions for those 50 and over.
The 401k individual limit for 2024 was announced on Nov 1 2023 to be $23,000: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/401k-limit-increases-to-23000-for-2024-ira-limit-rises-to-7000
What will it be for 2025?
I will use the official IRS site as source.

The answer is $23,500. When resolving this market I had to choose between two overlapping brackets: "23,000-23,500" and "23,500-24,000". I selected the latter but wasn't totally sure what to do in this case. I think it's reasonable to interpret the second number as being non-inclusive, but feel free to comment here if you disagree.
