There's a pull request from SirSalty to delete IP addresses and cookies from the database, and to update the deletion message to clarify that public comments and trades will not be deleted.
Comments from Ian say that keeping the IP address is important to prevent spammers from making an account to spam, deleting it, then making new accounts, and that deleting the cookie from the database wouldn't actually do anything.
Would the PR delete more information from the backend, or would it just leave it untouched?
Resolves NO if the PR is rejected. Resolves NO if the PR is modified to not delete more info from the backend. Resolves YES if the PR is merged as is.
