If Vedum formally leaves his position as minister of finance for any reason before the formation of a new Storting, this market will resolve as "NO."

Formally leaving means a public statement covered by national news, that he will no longer attend Cabinet meetings (Kongen i statsråd or Regjeringskonferance) as the minister of finance (Finansminister), or any declaration that effectively precludes him from attending as the minister of finance, such as death, being assigned a different minister seat, or leaving the government for any reason.
