Resolution criteria

This market will resolve YES if, at the close date, the preponderance of evidence suggests that at least one of the perpetrators of the Bondi Beach massacre (Sajid Akram and Naveed Akram) previously attended a pro-Palestine march, rally, demonstration or protest.

This market will otherwise resolve NO at the close date.

Close date

This market will close at 23:59:00 UTC on 20 December 2026 and will not resolve sooner.

Clarifications

Campaign Against Antisemitism posted a video purportedly showing the two perpetrators at a pro-Palestine protest. Traders should note that, until it can be proven that either of the individuals in the video was one of the perpetrators, this is insufficient evidence for a YES resolution.

A great deal of consideration will be given to the findings (or the absence of findings) of official inquiries, namely the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.
