Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, and North Carolina are widely considered the "swing states" in the 2024 US presidential election. This market is designed to measure to what degree people expect these states' decisions to be correlated. Resolves to the number of these swing states that vote for the overall winner of the election.
For the purposes of this market, "the overall winner of the election" is whoever gets the most pledged electoral votes in the official vote count, which is not necessarily the same person who becomes president due to the existence of tiebreaks and faithless electors. If two or more people tie for the most pledged electoral votes, resolves N/A.
