An equity crowdfunding campaign is a crowdfunding campaign where by pledging money, the backers also invest in the project and can get moeny if it succeeds. An example of a company that runs equity crowdfunding campaigns is Angel Studios.

Refund bonuses are monetary bonuses that are given to backers in addition to giving them their money back when a campaign fails to reach its goal. I have written about them here.

An equity crowdfunding campaign with refund bonuses would be an all-or-nothing fundraiser where if it doesn't reach the goal, the backers are refunded with a bonus, and if it does, the creator recives the money pledged as an investment, and the backers stand to profit if the project is successful.

As far as I know, no such campaign has ever been run. This question resolves either when such a campaign is run, or at the begining of 2026.
