Resolves YES if the President of France who takes office after the 2027 presidential election makes an explicit official apology ("excuses"/"apology," not merely acknowledgment or "regret") to Algeria for French colonization (1830–1962), in an official capacity (speech, written statement, or diplomatic communication), before the end of their term (2032).

Resolves NO if no such apology is made by the end of the term, or if the statement only acknowledges historical wrongs/crimes against humanity without using apology language.

Context: No French president has ever issued a formal apology for the colonization of Algeria, despite repeated Algerian demands.

Algeria passed a law in Dec. 2025 demanding an official apology and reparations from France; the final version (adopted March 2026) dropped that demand. Relations remain tense following France's 2024 recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara.
