Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to YES if either (or both) of the following conditions are met for the 3-game regular-season series between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets scheduled for September 11–13, 2026:
Yankees Sweep: The New York Yankees win all three games of the series.
29+ Total Runs: The total combined runs scored by both teams across the entire series is 29 or more (i.e., the sum of all runs scored by the Yankees and the Mets across all games played in the series is $\ge 29$).
If the Yankees do not win all three games AND the total combined runs scored by both teams is 28 or fewer, the market will resolve to NO.
Rules and Edge Cases:
Official Results: Outcomes will be determined using official box scores from MLB.com.
Postponements/Shortened Series:
If any games are postponed and rescheduled outside of the September 11–13 window, those games will still count toward the series outcomes as long as they are played before the end of the 2026 MLB regular season.
If the series is shortened (e.g., due to cancellation/rainouts) and fewer than 3 games are officially completed, the "sweep" condition cannot be met. However, if the games that are played produce 29 or more combined runs, the market will still resolve to YES.
If fewer than 3 games are completed, the total runs are 28 or fewer, and the unplayed games are not completed before the end of the 2026 regular season, the market will resolve to NO.
If the entire series is cancelled without a single game being played, the market will resolve to N/A.
Background
This is the second and final regular-season meeting of the 2026 "Subway Series" between the cross-town rivals. During their previous 3-game matchup at Citi Field (May 15–17, 2026), the Mets won the series 2–1, meaning no sweep occurred, but the total runs scored across the three games was exactly 29 (Game 1: 5-2 Yankees, Game 2: 6-3 Mets, Game 3: 7-6 Mets). This upcoming series takes place at Yankee Stadium.
