This will resolve YES if Pamela Price is removed from office due to a recall vote before her scheduled term ends on Jan 4, 2027.
The recall has qualified for the ballot: https://www.politico.com/news/2024/04/15/progressive-bay-area-prosecutor-faces-recall-vote-00152244
They got the money and the signatures.
The recall campaign needs to raise millions to gather the signatures. The first grass roots effort to recall Boudin failed and was attempted a second time with over $7M in contributions. It won’t take $7M to gather the signatures but it will take many millions. Dreyfuss was not a big donor to the SF campaign.
If they can find a few million for signatures, I will change my estimate but at this point 82% is far too high. This campaign won’t attract national attention and donors the way the SF campaign did. There aren’t the same number of local billionaires trying to influence politics either.
Seems like it has a decent amount of resources behind it - Philip Dreyfuss was involved in the Chesa recall campaign. https://oaklandside.org/2023/07/13/alameda-county-district-attorney-pamela-price-potential-recall-campaign/
