The Deutschlandticket allows one to travel in any local public transportation anywhere in Germany for a flat price of 49 € / month.
It was introduced in May of 2023, and will be evaluated over the following two years. Will the Deutschlandticket be continued in or after May 2025?
For the purposes of this question, any government-subsidized ticket of comparable price (not more than 60 €, adjusted for inflation as compared to May 2023) that is valid in all local public transit across Germany counts, even if its name is no longer "Deutschlandticket".
