On June 15, 2024, during a trip with Flixbus, the driver improperly charged me a €100 surcharge for special luggage, even though the surcharge had already been paid for €9.98 when I booked. Although I paid €100 via PayPal, the driver gave me a receipt for only €10. Flixbus refused to reimburse me, despite the recommendation of the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, who concluded that the surcharge should not have been charged.
I have been summoned today to appear before the Lille District Court in France. This bet will be resolved to "yes" if the court issues a decision today or before 01/01/2026 awarding me at least €100 in compensation.

The proof you paid 100 euros to the bus driver. Because if you gave 100 cash and he gave you a paper only for 10 the only viable way of winning this would be if you have either witness or recording that shows the paper. If you payed by card you can show them the bank statement. No?
