Not based on a real place

Previous Pokémon regions have been based on real places. On which continent will the inspiration for the next region be?

This specifically applies to the next new region introduced in a new "core series" Pokémon game. Regions introduced in expansions, remakes, and spinoff games are not counted. Alternate versions of existing regions (such as past/future versions, or alternate timelines) are not counted.

Examples of regions excluded under this definition are Fiore, Almia, Oblivia, Holon, Ransei, Ferrum, Orre, Pasio, the Sevii Islands, the Isle of Armor, the Crown Tundra, Kitakami, and Hisui. Previous regions included under this definition are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea (based on, in respective order, Japan, Japan, Japan, Japan, North America, Europe, North America, Europe, and Europe).

Continent boundaries will be judged according to the boundaries in this map.

The question will be resolved as soon as official information makes the answer clear, regardless of whether the game has been released yet.

A Taiwan game would be interesting.

We don't have any US place other than NYC area right? There's a lot of room there.
