I'm very strongly of the view that even in the best-case scenario for a Parkwood border change, this will not happen in 2024, due to the need for negotiation and coordination between the ACT, NSW and the Commonwealth and the timetable for getting appropriate legislation through both the NSW and Commonwealth parliaments. There is no urgency in getting the border moved for many years yet until the Parkwood development is much further underway.
