Yubico is going public.
Within 2 years of this announcement (April 19, 2025) will Yubico's most prominent product have functionality that only works if it is connected to their servers? (I will determine the most prominent product based on whatever is at the top of their product page: https://www.yubico.com/products/, and/or whatever product they are most known for (based on google search terms). I assume that this will be the newest version of the yubikey, or some rebranded yubikey.)
Resolves Yes if this kind of server-dependance is introduced, no otherwise.

It looks like Yubikeys have a "Yubico OTP" mode that uses a validation server, but this server can be self hosted: https://developers.yubico.com/OTP/Guides/Self-hosted_OTP_validation.html. (As far as I can tell the depreciation notice does not affect this question.)
Resolving NO.
