As of January 9th of 2024, it's no longer possible to create new Oldschool Runescape accounts of the traditional/old style; all new accounts are required to be of the new Jagex Account variety, with stronger restrictions around which clients they can be used to log in with.
Jagex seems to be pushing hard to increase adoption/uptake on the new Jagex Account scheme. But it remains an open question just how hard they're going to continue pushing.
The market will resolve Yes if, as of 2024-12-31, I can still log into Oldschool Runescape via an account which hasn't been converted to / assimilated into a Jagex Account; otherwise, it will resolve No. It will not resolve early in the event of Jagex pushing an update preventing such logins in the middle of 2024, as it's possible such a restriction could be subsequently retracted / softened before the end of the year.
