Resolution criteria

This market resolves to the car wash that is the first to officially open to the public (including soft openings or promotional free wash days open to the general public) at their respective locations near State Highway 114 and Wolff Crossing / Roaring River Road in North Fort Worth / Justin, TX.

• Baywash: Located at 1349 Hwy 114, Fort Worth, TX 76247 (inside the River's Edge Plaza development).

• Shammy's Car Wash: Located at 1348 / 1440 TX-114, Justin/Fort Worth, TX 76247 (near the Starbucks/7-Eleven at Wolff Crossing).

Rules & Edge Cases:

• "Opening to the public" is defined as the first day the car wash begins operating its tunnel for public vehicles, whether as a paid service or a "free wash" promotional opening event.

• Resolution will be determined by official social media announcements from either brand, local business registries, local news reports (such as Community Impact), or clear photographic/first-hand evidence of active public operation.

• If both car washes open on the exact same calendar day, the market will resolve to whichever opened its doors earlier in the day. If that cannot be determined, it will resolve 50/50.

• If one project is formally abandoned or canceled before opening, the other option will automatically resolve YES upon its opening.

Background

Both Baywash Express and Shammy's Car Wash are establishing highly anticipated express car wash tunnels along State Highway 114 in the rapidly growing North Fort Worth / Justin area.

• Baywash is building a $1.2 million, 4,472-square-foot facility at River's Edge Plaza (near Blackwater Trail and Roaring River Road). Construction began in mid-2025 with an initial state-registered target completion date in early 2026, which has since been delayed.

• Shammy's Car Wash is constructing its newest express wash on the adjacent Wolff Crossing tract near Highway 114, positioned near local retail points like Starbucks and 7-Eleven.

Both locations are in active development, and this market tracks which of the two will win the race to serve their first customers.
