When Touhou 20 is released some characters will be returning from previous games.

For this market, it counts as an appearance if they appear in-game (as a playable character or as a boss) or in an ending. I will also count it as an appearance if the character has dialog even if they don't have art.

If it is confirmed that Touhou 20 will not release then all options resolve N/A.
