On the 18th November 2025, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, along with Sen. Mark Kelly, Rep. Chris Deluzio, Rep. Maggie Goodlander, Rep. Chrissie Houlahan and Rep. Jason Crow, recorded and published a video, in which they claim that there is a threat to the Constitution from inside the US, and that members of the US military are able to and required to refuse illegal orders.

On the 24th November, the Department of War announced that they would be investigating Mark Kelly for his role in the recording and publishing of the video, including considering whether to court-martial him:
