@Eliza this is right. The Supreme Court term starts in October and continues thru the first half of the following year. Opinions in all argued cases are generally released by June 30th of any given term.

They can release an opinion any time after argument. The most difficult and controversial cases typically come out towards the end of June, as do late-argued cases. It's not illegal but would be highly irregular for any opinion to come out later than June 30.
