Wero, an Eurozone project from the European Payments Initiative, is currently limited to Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands, with Luxembourg rolling out and transitioning to Wero. Being an Eurozone project, other EU partners should be following suit, but some European countries have their own instant payment schemes and regulations, which could slow it down.
