In an attempt to tackle its housing crisis, Spain is planning a 100% tax on properties that non-European Union residents buy. According to Sánchez, many non-EU residents buy houses in Spain not to live in but to make money off them on holiday rentals.
This market resolves YES is such a tax is approved, even if it's not as high as a 100% tax. If this does not happen during the current Sánchez legislature, this market resolves NO.
