This market resolves to YES if the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially awards any of the following events to Munich:

  • The Games of the XXXVI Olympiad (2036)

  • The Games of the XXXVII Olympiad (2040)

  • The Games of the XXXVIII Olympiad (2044)


Specific Rules:

  • Official IOC Vote Only: This market relies strictly on the official host city announcement by the IOC.

  • Joint Bids Included: If the event is awarded to a joint/combined bid where Munich is officially named as the primary host or co-host city (e.g., sharing events with other cities or regions), this market resolves to YES.

  • Execution doesn't matter: Once the IOC officially awards any of these specific Olympiads to Munich, the market resolves to YES immediately. Subsequent cancellations, boycotts, or relocations do not change this outcome.

  • Resolution to NO: This market resolves to NO as soon as all three of the specified Olympiads have been officially awarded by the IOC to cities other than Munich.
