There was a report of Professor Kwon, LK-99 researcher, giving a talk about LK-99 during his planned lecture in general chemistry. Some people are saying it was recorded and transcribed. Will the audio or a transcript of it be released by end of sep 2023?
If something is released in Korean I will have it analysed and translated to verify legitimacy. I can be reached in the manifold discord lk-99 channel to submit links or data.
Text of report:

Edit 9/6 initial report was an hour long lecture. So I'll attempt to verify the audio or transcript is that long or at least say 45 min long. If eitherjia reconstructed afterwards that's not okay. For example, a student writing down what he or she remembered of the class, back at the dorm after, doesn't count. It has to be an actual transcript of a recording or very very high quality live note taking

@MartinRandall yes I don't speak Korean but have friends I could ask. And if it really seems legit I'd obviously leak it broadly and look for commentary, and also would pay for an analysis.
So I hope a naive fake won't trick us. And similar for audio although that's going to be so much harder to fake since can compare vs known real lecture recordings.
Discord update: "sources flaked" possibly because it's "off the record"
In YES case this makes no sense. why would a prof 1) be teaching a class still 2) speak for an hour about the discovery to random students and allow them to record 3) then try to prevent dissemination
Also, why are students respecting his wishes? Their recordings are anonymous. Let alone transcription! Are the lk99 shills suddenly honorable respecters of international privacy law? Leak it just like your hero who leaked to arxiv in the first place.
But in NO case the unobtainability of the doc and recording is obvious. It's very hard to produce a fake one hour audio plus transcript of an elite researcher in a highly tense situation speaking convincingly and playing this role. The nuance and complexity of personality, tech, etc. to play the YES role convincingly is super high. So they don't release it because there's nothing to release. It's made up the whole time and the event didn't happen.
Whether reality is YES or NO, the audio of that scientist lecturing for an hour is very valuable. Imagine using it to study psychology - it's incredible either for "how someone smart reacts psychologically to being disbelieved by the whole world" or "how someone can falsely convince themselves and never give up" or "art of the scam". In all three cases, if I was a native korean speaker, listening to it would be epic.
@StrayClimb From the previous title I understood it was september 23rd, not september 2023, but its all good :D
@ScipioFabius oh damn, I'm sorry, yes it was initially unclear. I just fixed it today, sorry about that.
