As of market creation, I'm at 758 after ~6 months back on the site. Before my hiatus, I was an active maintainer but we didn't track ticket counts. When I came back I pushed hard to make up for lost time, and then popped a couple hundred or so more due to New Year Resolutions. I'd say we average roughly 5-10 new tickets on a normal day, and of course others pick up a bunch of them.

Sometimes I do daily trimming of the queue, sometimes I have less time for Manifold and let others handle it all for awhile, and sometimes I do big pushes to clear the backlog when it grows too big or to break stale tickets that have languished. I try not to steal other mods' resolution points, but from time to time they forget to claim one and I'm not above tidying the queue if it seems to me they won't come back for it (which accounts for a negligible but nonzero portion of my total).

I expect to reach 1000 in 2026 without trying too hard, but I don't make consistent progress and when I will have motivation to handle tickets is just as opaque to me as anyone else.

Since my progress is public and verifiable I reserve the right to trade here.

Done!

as we approach the end of the month, I find myself motivated to hit 1000. the catch is really how many tickets come into the queue in the next few days. and if I have time for them. (there are a couple there already I haven't quite cracked)

@Stralor good opportunity for other mods to snipe tickets and bet July lol

bought Ṁ50 NO

mid june update

just did 2 more (so 943) after this screenshot.

hadn't touched the queue in like a month, but saw it was growing grotesquely large and jumped on it for a bit today

shit this is trending up too fast for my own bets lol

current status as we near the end of April:

I just did a big push and cleared out the whole mod queue from top to bottom, including all the old stale and contested tickets. I hadn't touched it basically since this market was created so other mods had done most of the pruning, but there was still a bunch that had built up. getting closer!
