I planted a dahlia tuber in this pot yesterday. Will it sprout?

Resolves "Yes" if I see any evidence of new growth breaking through the top of the soil. I will resolve "No" on July 1st if there is no evidence of any growth breaking through the top of the soil. I will provide try to provide picture proof either way.

The pot contains a lot of old dirt, but I also added quite a bit of new MiracleGro potting soil mix to it yesterday when I planted the other flower. I plan to water it every day or at least every other day. The pot is in direct sunlight for most of the day until the evening. I am in 2023 USDA plant hardiness zone 6b (https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/). The tuber is from a dahlia that I grew in the same pot last year and I kept it in the garage all winter long.
