The duration of the cabinet formation is the number of days starting from the date of the election and ending when the cabinet is sworn in.

If we look at the six most recent cabinet formations since Balkenende IV, we can divide the formation periods into a short category (52, 93 days), a medium category (127, 223 days) and a long category (225, 299) days.

This question resolves based on the duration of the formation period after the next dutch election (presumably 29 october 2025).

The question resolves on the day the cabinet is sworn in.

Or the question resolves after 224 days, when the outcome is no longer in doubt.

If no new cabinet is formed after the next election, and another election is called, that is irrelevant for this question, it resolves based in the duration after the next election, regardless of if more elections take place before a cabinet is formed.
