Resolves to % that defending broad interpretations of second amendment rights and freer gun access (as opposed to increased gun control) change political party affiliation. If the issue completely flips it can resolve YES.

Typically this policy issue is associated with Republicans (including MAGA) supporting gun rights and Democrats suggesting increased legislation. In the wake of the federal shooting of Alex Pretti this has been tested but not changed in a permanent way.

Current assessment and initialization is at 20% based on Republicans fracturing and wavering in their strong stance and Democrat gun ownership rising.
