Notes:

1. The current total as of posting of this question is 137. (CDs and DVDs also count as "books" for the purposes of this question. Printed pamphlets and such do not.)

2. Any books taken on New Year's Eve will count as gone, even if they're taken after midnight when the new year has started; for this reason I've set the close date to 2 January 2026 to ensure I have time to resolve it.

3. While normally the number only goes down, this year Geoff and Kappa may add a bunch of books to the shelves as they deduplicate their combined book collection... however, these books are likely to be taken much quicker than other books on the shelves!

And remember as always that as more books get taken, the less worth taking the remaining ones will be!
