@SneakySly Partly cos BTE put up a ton of liquidity poor chap. I'd send winnings back if it were a feature xo
@GeorgeVii So you are saying a bunch of others caught on to the small spreads and traded in and out for a bunch of pre-resolution profits? Thus the volume skyrocketed? I was under the impression that as soon as it became obvious it was going to be achieved it almost became a race to buy yes and get in before it closed, even if for only marginal gains.
This these high volume markets are so much fun to actively trade they become self-fulfilling.
So it took approximately 36 hours for this to resolve. Tempting...

does it count as volume if you buy and sell repeatedly? Or is it “money gained/lost by trading”?

New to all of this
@Angela I think buying and selling repeatedly affects it, but keep in mind there are small fees for buying and selling that may make that I'll advised.

@Angela I have actually already made $60 buying and selling on this question. This is the second question like this I have bet on. I have also added $400 in liquidity because then the spreads shrink and you can profit off of smaller movements. If there isn't much liquidity, you can't really sell whatever you buy for more than you paid for it unless there is a large enough pool. I suspect this market could be really easy to make a lot of money trading over the next few weeks because as it grows it increases the incentive to bet even if you only expect say 5-10% movement, which would typically not be worth it compared to the potential loss of everything. This site is addicting....
