Criteria
This refers to the phone that wins "Phone of the Year" in 2025 on the YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@mkbhd.

Usually, a specific phone model is announced as the winner, this market will resolve YES to whichever brand that phone belongs to.

If there are multiple winners then this market will be resolved partially between the winning answers. If he changes the format of the awards such that there isn't a category resembling "phone of the year", then this will resolve to the most similar category/multiple categories (if there is no single one most similar).

Context

The 2024 Phone of the Year Awards can be watched here.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra won the phone of the year award in 2024.

Some other realistic contenders that do not have their own answers in this market and would fall under "other" include Huawei, Sony, Nothing, and Nubia (redmagic).

I made this market partially for selfish reasons as I need to buy a new phone this year (just passed 5 years on my current phone! S10 5g).

The Oneplus 13 that recently got released looks super worth it (sad I missed the preorder free gift tho).

S25 ultra is super solid but probably not worth the price compared to alternatives and a bit of a disappointment considering so few changes from the S24U.

If the Vivo x200 Ultra had a global version I would probably wait for that, but seems like it will not.

Hard to know what Apple and Google are cooking up. They will probably need to utilise the new silicon-carbon batteries to keep up with the Chinese phones.
