I realized what really gets to me: it's when somebody breaks one of the good little rules I made for myself. It's not pretty to see cigarette butts on the ground, but what really makes my blood boil is that I resolved to always find a garbage bin no matter what and suffer for it, while these people not only litter, but also get to enjoy the convenience of it I've denied to myself.
