Joe Biden and Donald Trump are the front runners to be their parties' candidate for the Presidential election on 5th November.

Traditionally, you would expect the two candidates to face each other in multiple debates ahead of the election but Donald Trump has refused to debate his Republican opponents and there has been speculation that he will avoid debating Joe Biden in case his "Bide has dementia" narrative is harmed by Biden outperforming him in front of a wide audience.

Donald Trump has been pushing back on this narrative this week, claiming that he will debate Joe Biden "anytime anywhere".

Will a debate between the two men go ahead? If so, which month will see their first debate?

Resolution notes:

• This market won't resolve until the debate actually goes ahead - simply an announcement isn't enough to resolve it

• If the debates don't go ahead because either candidate is not the nominee, because either candidate dies or is incapacitated or because either candidate is in prison or otherwise unable to attend the debate, this market will still resolve to NO

• Both candidates have to be preset at the same time for it to count as a debate. An example of an event which would not count is one where Biden is questioned for an hour and then Trump is questioned for an hour after Biden has finished.
