Inspired by this market: https://manifold.markets/strutheo/coolfold-2024-which-of-these-2024-e
I will use this site to track Bitcoin prices: https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin/
To resolve YES, an option must:
- Occur before the Bitcoin / USD exchange rate next hits 1 BTC = 75,000.00 USD
- Have a definite date and time that it occurred
- Be relatively straightforward for me to verify the time that it happened relative to other options and Bitcoin prices. I reserve the right to resolve anything that is too hard to verify N/A, even if that potentially changes the outcome of the market.
- Not be related to Bitcoin (otherwise someone could make a "Bitcoin hits 74,999.99" option and win automatically).
If any option occurs more than once, the first time that it happened after the creation of this market will be used. (This prevents degenerate answers that happen once every second from winning automatically.)
In the event of two or more events happening at the exact same time (within my ability to verify), the option in this market that was created first resolves YES, and all others resolve NO.
The market will be closed to new options or trades whenever Bitcoin's value goes above 70,000, and reopened if it goes below 65,000 without first hitting 75,000.
The close time will be extended until Bitcoin hits 70,000. All options resolve N/A if Bitcoin somehow ceases to exist at any point in the future. The market will not resolve OTHER.
Closing this market according to the rules in the description. It will reopen if BTC hits 65,000 again.
Update: Reopening.
