Blink-182 released their latest album featuring the return of original guitarist and frontman Tom Delonge on October 20, 2023. On October 25, two more digital exclusive tracks were released. Fans have taken note across the band's various social media as well as those of writers, mixers, engineers, friends, and anybody else who were in the studio that there are several track titles that did not make the cut. The band was already recording material in secret before announcing there was a new album coming, as bassist Mark Hoppus was still recovering from cancer.

When their album California was released on July 1, 2016 with Matt Skiba filling in for Tom Delonge, it was released as a single album with 15 tracks. On May 19, 2017, it was rereleased as a deluxe edition with an additional 12 tracks.
