This market will resolve to the next permanent captain of the Indian Men’s Test Cricket team. The resolution will be based on an announcement on the official BCCI website (https://www.bcci.tv).

I define “permanent captain” as when a player is appointed captain and the official announcement does not give a date at which they will cease to be captain. If a non-permanent captain is announced, the market will remain open until either a permanent captain is announced, or the 31st Dec 2025 (in which case the market will resolve as ‘Other‘.

If the BCCI appoints two people as co-captains (or similar), the market will resolve as “Other”.
