Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to the player who finishes in first place at the 2026 Grand Chess Tour Super Rapid & Blitz Poland, held in Warsaw from May 5–9, 2026. The winner is determined by the highest combined score from the rapid and blitz portions of the tournament, as reported by the official Grand Chess Tour website at grandchesstour.org. In the event of a tie for first place necessitating a playoff, the winner of the playoff will be considered the winner of the tournament.

Background

The 2026 Super Rapid & Blitz Poland is the first stage of the 2026 Grand Chess Tour. The event features a 10-player field competing in a single round-robin rapid tournament (9 rounds) followed by a double round-robin blitz tournament (18 rounds). Rapid games award 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw, while blitz games award 1 point for a win and 0.5 for a draw.
