Yoshi drops things when I firmly say "No" but not when I say "Drop it"

July 10, 2022: My dog has reliably learned sit, and come here. Drop it is still in the works!

Just "in the lab," or including when he really wants to keep whatever you're telling him to drop?

Learning "drop it" means that he drops whatever is in his mouth when we command him to. He must drop whatever he's holding onto very purposefully upon hearing the command. He should be able to drop it 80% of the time we ask him to.
