Resolution criteria
This market will resolve to "Yes" if, before January 1, 2026, any card commonly used in the "Oops All Spells" deck is added to the official Magic: The Gathering Legacy banned list. The official banned list is maintained by Wizards of the Coast and can be found here: Magic: The Gathering Banned and Restricted List. The resolution will be based on the status of the banned list as of 11:59 PM UTC on December 31, 2025.
Background
"Oops All Spells" is a combo deck in the Legacy format that aims to win by milling its entire library and leveraging cards like "Balustrade Spy" or "Undercity Informer" to achieve this. The deck typically includes no traditional lands, relying instead on modal double-faced cards (MDFCs) that can function as lands. Key components often include:
Balustrade Spy: Reveals cards from the top of your library until a land card is revealed; since the deck contains no lands, this mills the entire library.
Undercity Informer: Sacrifices a creature to achieve a similar effect as Balustrade Spy.
Narcomoeba: Automatically enters the battlefield when milled, facilitating further combos.
Dread Return: Reanimates creatures from the graveyard, often used to bring back a game-ending threat.
As of May 31, 2025, no cards from the "Oops All Spells" deck are listed on the Legacy banned list. The most recent bans in Legacy, announced in March 2025, include "Troll of Khazad-dûm" and "Sowing Mycospawn," which are not components of this deck. (mtg.cardsrealm.com)
