On July 14th at 9am EST, a Sonic the Hedgehog themed drop is scheduled to go on sale on the Secret Lair site. As a lifelong fan of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Magic: the Gathering, I am the target demographic for this product.

Will I survive my expedition through the Secret Lair website and be able to purchase at least one set?

Resolution criteria.

I will attempt to purchase the Sonic the Hedgehog Secret Lair on release through the official Secret Lair website.

This market will resolve "Yes" upon my successful purchase, as verified by tracking number.

This market will resolve "No" if I am unable to complete my purchase for any reason, or if it is cancelled before a tracking number is provided. It will also resolve "No" if the set does not release on July 13, 2025, for any reason.

Market closes on July 13, 2025, one day prior to release.

I will not be betting on this market.

Background

On July 14, 2025, at 9 a.m. PST, three Sonic the Hedgehog-themed Secret Lair drops will be released. Each drop is priced at $29.99 for non-foil and $39.99 for foil editions.

My love for both Sonic the Hedgehog and Magic the Gathering rivals, perhaps even overtakes, my adoration for the Shuckle Pokemon character. I will attempt to answer any lore trivia in the comments to verify this. My point is - this product is my "shut up and take my money" moment.

Considerations

These drops are available exclusively on the official Secret Lair website and are offered in limited quantities. Given the popularity of both Magic: The Gathering and Sonic the Hedgehog, it's anticipated that these products may sell out quickly.

I'm also not a morning person, so it's dubious whether I'll make it to the site before they sell out.
