Spotify curates a playlist of the most streamed songs globally and updates it on Fridays to reflect streaming data for the previous week, beginning on the preceding Friday and ending on Thursday.
This market will resolve according to the most-streamed song globally on Spotify for the week labeled December 25.
If Spotify does not release its top song for the week labeled December 25 by December 26, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, this market will default to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from Spotify. The weekly top songs chart can be found on open.spotify.com under the "Charts" heading.
Update 2025-12-26 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The market will resolve based on the chart for the week including December 25, even if that chart is labeled December 26th (not December 25th as originally stated). The creator acknowledges the original wording was unclear and is offering refunds to users who sold early or selected "other" due to this ambiguity.

@Porcupine would this resolve others if it’s labeled Dec 26th? It’s looking like this was the only option at this question's inception since last one was labeled Dec 19th and a week later means it’s labeled Dec 26th
@Mochi I should have updated to reflect intention of choosing top song for the week including Dec. 25, I mistakenly said it would be labeled Dec. 25. I meant that “other” would be selected if there was no weekly song chart. That being said, since the rules may not have been clear, I am willing to refund people who sold early or selected “other” because of the ambiguity of the rules.
