I was expecting soda to have the most votes, but I didn't think it would be this overwhelming.

As a Midwesterner, I call them "pop" when speaking to other people from the Midwest. But when I talk to someone from anywhere else, I usually switch to "soda" because it's more universally understood.

I do not speak of these beverages.
