The question will resolve to the number of days that the MIT "solidarity encampment," intended to protest against MIT researchers' acceptance of Israeli military funding, stays up. It will be resolved based on how many 24-hour periods (rounded down) have elapsed since 8:30 PM, Sunday, 2024-04-21 (local time), which is approximately when the campsite was set up.

Moving the campsite will not count as it ending, and neither will any planned "pause" in camping of any length (provided the campsite returns on schedule). However, the campsite leaving campus entirely for any type of "temporary pause" of indefinite length will be counted as a resolution from the moment of departure, and will be resolved once 24 hours have elapsed from then.

Any and all campsites set up by counterprotesters or for any other reason (homeless encampments, other types of temporary structures) will not be counted as the solidarity encampment. However, other campsites set up on MIT property in support of the objectives of the solidarity encampment, even if done by different organizations than set up the solidarity encampment, will be counted as "the solidarity encampment" for purposes of resolution.

The question will resolve to 52 if and when more than 52 days have elapsed without the encampment stopping.
