Resolution Criteria

This market will resolve as YES if at least one person or group who is officially selected and announced as a 2025 Kennedy Center Honoree subsequently declines the award for any reason.

The market will resolve as NO if all individuals and groups selected for the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors accept the award.

For clarity:

• The decline must occur after the official announcement of honorees

• If someone is offered the honor but declines before the public announcement (and thus is never officially announced as an honoree), this would NOT count as a decline for market purposes

• If an honoree accepts the honor but does not attend the ceremony this would NOT count as declining the award

• The market will remain open until all selected honorees have either accepted or declined the award
